Amanda Fink Dances with the Stars!

Amanda Fink, Area Manager for all the Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln Certified Transmission retail locations, will join other celebrities in showing off their dancing skills by performing in the 2018 Dancing with the Omaha Stars on February 10 at Ralston Arena. Money raised from the event will go to TeamMates Mentoring Program.
Dancing with the Omaha Stars began in 2010 as a way to raise money for local charities. Local celebrities are paired with Omaha?s top dance pros and practice a dance routine for weeks in preparation for the big event and to vie for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. Past local celebrities include local news anchors, Mayors of Omaha, former Husker football players and many more.
TeamMates Mentoring Program was started in 1991 by then University of Nebraska Head Football Coach Tom Osborne and his wife Nancy. The TeamMates Mentoring Program was formalized as a statewide program in 1998 with 12 chapters and 441 mentor/mentee matches. Since then, TeamMates has steadily grown to include over 135 chapters and currently serves more than 7,500 youth through partnerships with local school districts. TeamMates continues to grow beyond Nebraska and Iowa, recently opening its first chapters in Kansas and Wyoming.
