  • Certified Transmission, a family-owned and operated company, was founded in 1979 by its owner, Peter Fink. What started as a two-bay gas station with just a toolbox and $1,000 has grown into one of the world’s largest suppliers of remanufactured transmissions. Today, Certified Transmission operates 14 retail locations across Omaha, Lincoln, Topeka, and Kansas City, while continually expanding its nationwide distribution network. The company’s remanufacturing takes place in two state-of-the-art facilities—a 106,000-square-foot plant in Omaha, NE, and a 40,000-square-foot facility in Fort Dodge, IA — ensuring top-quality rebuilt transmissions for customers across the U.S.
